The City of Nelsonville Utilities Committee held a meeting on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 6:00PM in City Hall. The meeting was held to discuss city policy on private swimming pool usage as it pertains to sewer usage and fee rates.
The meeting was held to discuss,
- Commercial rental units – requirement for master water meters
- Changing the water deposit to a refundable deposit of approximately $150–$175
- Disconnect notices – proposed change to the required notice period from the current “no less than 5 days and no more than 10 days” to “no less than 5 days and no more than 15 days” due to delays in postal delivery
